With a little discipline you should be able to be competitive by the age of 25. I was always taught that it takes 3 years for the cardiovascular system to reach a competitive level of conditioning, unless one has a good level of fitness coming in. Don’t try to acheive it all at once, set a reasonble training regimen, and stick to it. Until your conditioning improves, focus as much on improving your technique, as anything else. Learn as much as you can about technique, training, and nutrition. As you get better, they become more and more important.
Has any heard about this ironman+triathlon product: 101 FREE Cooking Tips? I actually have used it and found it to be excellent.
Do you plan on working or getting a full time job? If you answered yes to either of those questions then it’ll be much tougher. I know Ironman competitors that train over 40 hours a week. It’s doable but requires a lot of comittment.
Noooo. anyone can get what they want if they want it alot… you’ll have to train hard, but it is certailnlly an echiveble goal
